Athalie Deborah Pearce

I am a lifelong sewer having embroidered, crocheted and made clothes since I was a child, then curtains and soft furnishings for several homes. I am now indulging my passion for decorative textiles in many forms having taken as many classes as I could in order to find my preferences.
My first patchwork was a hand pieced and quilted hexagon cot quilt in 1982 for my third child - this was sadly lost in a house move. Another small piece did survive that era, a piece of Somerset Quilting made from dress fabric scraps.
I now live in Edinburgh and enjoy as much of the quilting life available as I can fit into life with a family scattered around the UK and Australia.
