The 40th Birthday of the Guild was celebrated in great style in North Wales!
Gwenfai Rees Griffiths welcomed everybody and then introduced show and tell. I hope the attached images reflect the diversity of work. (Unfortunately the plates on the lunch table made the greatest showing and are probably on each picture - apologies: web photographer)
After a wonderful lunch which members had brought to share, we had 3 mini workshops led by Barbara Harrison who demonstrated a pin cushion, Merrill Tanton, Christmas decorations and Gwenfai Rees Griffiths a Christmas star.
A special feature was a Ruby raffle - 40 plus red items with the proceeds to the President's £40 for 40 Years challenge. The lucky ticket holder won all the items!
The day finished with a toast to The Quilters' Guild and a slice of Guild cake - yet another piece for the President in this special year!
